Mary Elizabeth Grace

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Grace, age 87 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12:30 PM at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Franklin Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Tyree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Born November 17, 1928 in Robertson Co., TN. she was the daughter of the late William H. Gregory and the late Hauty Lawrence Gregory.  She was preceded in death by a son Timothy Dean Grace and a daughter Brenda Carol Bayles, son-in-law Lonnie Lawrence and a daughter-in-law Kay Sullivan Grace,  2 brothers Clarence Ray Gregory and James Gregory and a sister Carolyn Gregory.

She is survived by her husband J.W. Grace, 4 children John Wesley Grace, Jr., Anthony Dale Grace, Tammy Lynn Lawrence all of Franklin, KY. and Hoby Todd Grace of McEwin, TN., a brother William Bobby Gregory of Franklin, Ky., 4 sisters Helen Aton, Thelma Johns, Patsy Andrews and Brenda Perdure all of Franklin, KY., 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Mrs. Grace was a member of the Tyree Chapel Church of Christ and Round Pond Homemakers Club, she was a homemaker and had worked at Potter & Brumfield Company.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 9:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM until funeral service time Tuesday.
