Mary Roberta Galoci

Mrs. Mary Roberta Galoci, age 83, of Franklin, KY, formerly of Alexandria, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 the Medical Center of Franklin, KY.

Mrs. Galoci wishes are to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, October 26, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Mary was born on October 31, 1940 in Franklin, KY to the late, Emil Robert Fehrle and the late, Anna Elizabeth (Hauff) Fehrle. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wayne Galoci; a son, Christian Wayne Galoci; a sister, Anna Elizabeth Fehrle Lack Nealy; a brother, Emil Robert Fehrle, Jr.; a niece, Heather Marie Etheridge; a great-nephew, Ricky Daniel Watkins; and great-great-niece, Wyley Jewels Watkins.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Naomi Fehrle of Chatsworth, GA and Marie Etheridge of Chatsworth, GA; 2 grandchildren, William Seth Galoci and Hope Marie Galoci, both of Herndon, VA; a brother-in-law, Joseph H. Galoci of Franklin, KY; a niece, Tammy Watkins (Ricky) of Franklin, KY; 2 nephews, James E. Lack, Jr. (Nancy) of Franklin, KY and Jason Etheridge of Chatsworth, GA; several great-nieces and great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and several cousins.

Mary was a 1958 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. She was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Alexandria, VA. Mary was a retired budget analyst from the United States Government, Department of Defense. She enjoyed to read, was interested in genealogy and liked the history of Virginia.
