Mrs. Mary Frances Cherry, age 85 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:04 A.M. at the Medco Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Howard Ditmore and the late Bertha Hughes Ditmore. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Douglas Cherry, brothers
William Bill Ditmore and Joe Thomas Ditmore and great grandson Hunter Gore.
She is survived by a daughter Paulette Thomas and husband Punkin of Franklin, KY., sister Trudy Morphew and husband Kenneth of Cromwell, KY. and brother James Vickers Ditmore and wife Betty Ruth of Franklin, KY.; grandchildren: De Ann Moyers, Paula Gore and Chris Thomas; great grandchildren: Megan Gore, Zack Thomas, Morgan Moyers and Rylan Paul Thomas.
Mrs. Cherry was a member of the Macedonia General Baptist Church, a homemaker and retired employee of Southern Bell Telephone Co.
