Mrs. Mary Anne Byrum

Mrs. Mary Anne Byrum, age 97, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Greenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, KY.  

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sulphur Spring Cemetery, 2504 Sulphur Spring Road, Franklin, KY.  

Mary Anne was born on August 26, 1926 in Adairville, KY to the late Samuel Stacker and the late Alliene Rhodes (Kroker) Stacker.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Byrum; a sister, Peggy Marie Brewer; and a brother, Samuel Stacker, Jr.

She is survived by 2 sons, Glenn Ray Byrum (Janet) and Robert Dale Byrum (Karen) both of Franklin, KY; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Norwood, Kristen Wheat, Deidre Buselmeier and Emily Didato; and 7 great-grandchildren, Lexie Wheat, Mary Booker, Matthew Norwood, Courtney Norwood, June Didato, Everett Buselmeier and Emmett Buselmeier.

Mary Anne was retired from Capitol Finance Corporation as a bookkeeper and as a bookkeeper at Byrum Farm Center.  She was a member of Franklin Church of Christ, Franklin, KY.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Simpson County Youth Camp Scholarships at Franklin Church of Christ, 700 South Main Street, Franklin, KY.
