Martha Sue Johnson

Mrs. Martha Sue Johnson, age 76, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 7:55 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 8th 2020 with burial to follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson County.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, February 7th, 2020 and from 6:00 AM until time of service Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Martha was born February 13, 1943 in Jackson Co. TN to the late Oliver Edward Huff and the late Evalene Cornahan Huff. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Dorothy Flemming, Patsy Huff and Ima Jean Anna Whealty, three brothers; David, Jasper, and James Huff.

Martha is survived by her husband; Willard Johnson, 4 children; Robert Dale Jarman of Franklin, KY, Christy Lynn Merrell of Morgantown, KY, William Jesse Johnson of Alvaton, KY, and James Travis Johnson of Windyville, KY, 3 sisters; Sue Brown of Franklin, KY, Janie Gann of Bowling Green, KY, and Joann Felts of Nashville, TN, 2 brothers; Junior Huff of Franklin, KY, and Bobby Huff of Franklin, KY, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Martha was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was retired from Franklin Laundry.
