Mark Gregory Monnier

A former Franklin, KY resident Mr. Mark Gregory Monnier, age 59 of Mammoth Cave, KY, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019.

Mark was born September 23, 1960 in Carthage, IL to the late John Monnier and the late Bonnie Gail Steimer Monnier.   2 brothers Dan and Paul Monnier preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Jane Foard Monnier, 3 children Eric Monnier (Stalena) of Franklin, KY, Mike Monnier of Burlington, IA and Lacy Samuel (Kelly) of Franklin, KY, 3 brothers Steve Monnier of Tucson, AZ, John Monnier of Columbia, SC, Dave Monnier of Savannah, TN, 3 sisters Mary Reed of Quincy, IL, Nancy Halpin of Bethlehem, PA and Lou Ann Metternich of Nauvoo, IL, 7 grandchildren Troy Monnier, Ivy West, Victoria West, Emily Monnier, Raimi Monnier, Austin Monnier and Alexis Samuels

Mr. Monnier was co-owner and plant manager at Chemway in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
