Marilou (Stommel) Barton

Mrs. Marilou Barton, age 78, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 7:01 PM at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Mrs. Barton's wishes are to be cremated with no services.

Marilou was born on August 31, 1943 in Menominee, MI to the late Gregory Stommel and the late Verona (Pichee) Stommel.  She is also preceded in death by a brother, James Stommel.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Dave Barton; 2 children, John Barton (Cherrod) of Tullahoma, TN and Derrick Barton of Franklin, KY; 4 grandchildren, Wes Barton (Dakaka), Whitney De La Cruz (Luis), Wendi Barton and Ryder Barton; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings, Judi Edholm (Allan) of Mayer, MN and Gregory Stommel (Linda) of Green Bay, WI.

Marilou was a member of Cedar Creek Church.  She was a member of the Cedar Creek Yacht Club.  Marilou enjoyed boating, reading and entertaining friends and family.
