Margaret Catherine Steele

Mrs. Margaret Catherine Steele, age 88 of Bowling Green, KY. entered into rest Monday, July 6, 2015 at 3:25 PM at the Hospice House with family by her side, in Bowling Green, KY.
Funeral services are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of McHenry, Ky. she was the daughter of the late Virgie Stewart and the late Myrle Warren Stewart. She was the wife of the late Russell Haynes Atcher and Harry J. Steele. She was preceded in death by her son Charles R. Atcher and a brother Bruce Stewart.
She is survived by 3 grandchildren Kim Wainscott (Mark) of Louisville, Ky., Amy Bonner of Franklin, KY. and Beth Stephens of Bowling Green, KY., 5 great grandchildren Kayla Gilbreth, Brandan and Kylie Wainscott, Annsleigh and Zoei Bonner, a brother Dwight Stewart (Renie) of Beaver Dam, KY., Jacqueline Hayes (Jim) of McHenry, KY., sister-in-law Peggy Stewart of Beaver Dam, KY., and a special friend Susan Eckler-Faulconer of Florida.
Mrs. Steele was baptized in the Church of Christ, she graduate of McHenry High School, she had worked at the Colonial Garden Center in Evansville, IN. for 17 years and at Windsor Plastic as an inspector for 7 years and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
