Margaret Perry Reece

Mrs. Margaret Perry Reece, age 93, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Franklin, KY entered into rest on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 at 9:08 PM at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will be held at Gilbert Funeral Home on Monday, September 14th, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Margaret was born on January 14th, 1927 in Franklin, KY to the late Modest Perry and the late Mary Snyder Perry.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lee Reece and 2 brothers, Snyder Perry and Ralph Perry.

She is survived a son, Bobby Reece (Patti) of Bowling Green, KY; 2 grandchildren, Chris Reece (Angie) of Kennesaw, GA and Cliff Reece of Bowling Green, KY; 1 great-grandson, Joshua Reece; a sister, Helen Farley of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Franklin, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a member of Round Pond Presbyterian Church in Simpson County.  She was a nurse for Dr. Moore for the majority of her career and eventually worked for Dr. Beasley, Dr. Wilwayco and Dr. Alvey.
