Mrs. Margaret DePriest Coker, age 86 of Franklin, KY., formerly of Portland, TN. entered into rest Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home of Portland, TN. where services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 19, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2016 at the DePriest Bend Cemetery in Perry Co., TN.
A native of Perry Co., TN., she was the daughter of the late Charlie Dyer and the late Bessie Byrd Dyer. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Depriest and the late William “Billy” Coker.
She is survived by 2 children Kathy Roberts (Gene) of Franklin, KY., and Rick Depriest (Thresia) of Portland, TN., a sister Betty Paul of Portland, TN., 7 grandchildren Karen Henderson, Susan Clinard, Daniel Roberts, Jason, Benjamin, Richard, Jr. and David DePriest, a nephew Jeff Paul of Portland, TN.
Mrs. Coker was a member of the Mitchellville Church of Christ and Portland Church of Christ. She was a charter member of the Dogwood Hills Country Club.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2016 and from 8:00 AM until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home of Portland, TN.
