Marcy D'Ann Brister

Ms. Marcy D’Ann Brister, age 62, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 at 12:52 AM at The Hopkins Center in Woodburn, KY.

Marcy’s wishes were to be cremated.  A visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 15th, 2023 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a Celebration of Life Service to follow visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Marcy was born March 27th, 1961 in Newport News, VA to the late R.W Griffin (Pawpaw) and the late Peggye Louise Seigler (Angel Nana).

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Lowery (Byron) of Franklin, Ky; 4 grandchildren, Breanna Lowery, Hunter Gregory, Addy Gregory and Lizzie Gregory; 2 sisters Allyson Huddleston and Sheryl Livingston; step-father Donald Andress; step-sister Angela Lopez; step-brother Mike Lowe; 2 aunts, Linda Odell (Charlie) and Sandy Locasio (Tony) ; 2 uncles, Arther Griffin (Mary Nell) and Forrest Griffin (Elaine); and many loving cousins.

Marcy was a member of Franklin Community Church. She loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed Star Trek, Dr Pepper zero, peanut M&M’s, reading and writing. She also enjoyed traveling and living her life. She was grateful for everything beautiful.
