Lynne Short

Mrs. Lynne Short, age 55, of Franklin, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 24th, 2019 at 5:49 PM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held Monday, December 30th, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson County.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29th from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and on Monday, December 30th, from 6:00 AM until funeral service time at 2:00 PM here at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Lynne was born February 4th, 1964 in Portland, TN to the late James Adcock and to Lillie Carnahan Carver, whom survives, of Franklin, KY.  She is preceded in death by her Mother-in-law, Ruth Short.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Short of 36 years; 4 children, Paul Short (Tina) of Franklin, KY; Joani Hester (Caleb) of Russellville, KY; Darshell Short of Franklin, KY; John Carnahan of Bowling Green, KY; 5 grandchildren, Adairlyn Hester, Ayden Short, Ahvyana Short, Aliyah Short and Hollis Hester; 6 brothers and sisters.

Lynne was a homemaker and spent the majority of her time with her grandchildren.
