Luther Wayne Byrum

Mr. Luther Wayne Byrum, age 78, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:50 PM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  Gravesides services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

No visitation is scheduled.

Wayne was born July 28, 1941 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Henry Luther “Cap” Byrum and the late Rebecca Elizabeth Jones Byrum.  A sister Marilyn Moore preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Alford Byrum, a son, Jeff Byrum of Franklin, KY, a grandson, Ryan Byrum of Franklin, KY, 2 brothers, Lawrence Byrum of Franklin, KY and Russell Byrum of Portland, TN, and a sister, Barbara Johnson of Bowling Green, KY.

Wayne was a member of the Salmons General Baptist Church and was retired from Dana Corporation.
