Mrs. Lucy B. Gent, age 76 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday,
September 30, 2016 at 6:46 AM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.
Mrs. Gent was born April 11, 1940 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Elmer T. Buchanan and the late Hettie Dee Russell Buchanan. She was preceded in death by a brother Louis Blaine Buchanan. She was the wife of the late Richard Wayne Gent.
She is survived by 2 children Danny Gent (Jackie) of Franklin, KY. and Elisa Davison of Bowling Green, KY., a brother John Allen Buchanan of Franklin, KY., 4 grandchildren Joshua Wayne Gent (Amy), Corey Wayne Gent, Leslie Nicole Gent and Ricky Earl Davison and a great grandson Spencer Wayne Gent.
Mrs. Gent was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church and was retired office manager at Blitz Builders.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until service time Sunday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
