Mrs. Lucie Anne Burkam Abercrombie, age 70 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence.
A native of Montgomery Co. OH. she was the daughter of the late E.G. Burkam and the late Dorothy Flack Burkam. She was the wife of the late Frederick S. "Scottie" Abercrombie, Jr.
She is survived by a sister Barbara Hunter of Polkton, NC., an aunt Libby Hornbeck and 2 cousins, Molly Bean (Jerry) and Jim Hornbeck, and 2 nieces.
Mrs. Abercrombie was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church. Mrs Abercrombie spent her elementary years in Payton, OH. and her adult years in Mahwah, NJ. After her mother's passing her and her husband moved to Sarasota, Fl. for 10 years and then to Franklin, KY. She was an avid bridge player and rescued 3 or 4 Greyhound dogs.
