Lucian Bishop Merritt

Mr. Lucian Bishop Merritt, age 86 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1:55 A .M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Woodburn, KY., he was the son of the late Tom Merritt and the late Gladys Herrington Gentry.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Merritt and son Jasper Merritt (Barbara) all of Franklin, KY.; 3 grandchildren Justin Merritt, Laura Beth Merritt and Robert Murray; 4 great grandchildren Austin Murray, Ethan Murray, Lucian Murray and Jack Corbin Merritt.
Mr. Merritt was a member of Drakes Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Kendall Co. An Army veteran he was a member of American Legion Post 62, VFW Post 5706, AM Vets Post 110, DAV and Cooties.
