Lorene Sloan Robey
June 27, 1923 — October 22, 2009
Mrs. Lorene Robey age 86, of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 5:25 P. M. at the Hopkins Nursing Facility in Woodburn, Ky.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky., she was the daughter of the late Edgar Hershel Sloan and the late Nellie Johnson Sloan. She was preceded in the death by her husband Robert “Dyke” Robey and a sister Lila Smith.
She is survived by 2 Nieces: Nancy Tuck of Franklin, Ky. and Mary Jo Lipscomb of Nashville, Tn. and several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robey was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and attended Bethel Grove Methodist Church. She was a bookkeeper for the Franklin, Bowling Green and Russellville stockyards.
