Lillie Marie Groves

Mrs. Lillie Mae Groves, age 85 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Tuesday, January 26, 2015 at 6:05 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Johnny Dowell and the late Frances May Dowell. She was the wife of the late James Groves and was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Kay Stewart.
She is survived by 2 children Charles Groves(Linda) of Franklin, KY., Peggy Groves Farmer(Terry) of Franklin, KY., a son-in-law Michael Stewart of Franklin, KY., 3 sisters Bertha Dowell Belcher of Franklin, Ky., Betty Sue Sloan and Rebecca Jean Steinburger both of Franklin, KY., a brother Raymond Ernest Dowell of Hensley, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchilden.
Mrs. Groves was a member of the Byrums Chapel Church and was retired from Lenk/Drackett Co.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time Friday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
