Lila Jean Gregory Dodson

Mrs. Lila Jean Gregory Dodson, age 75, of Franklin, KY., passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 7:00 AM at her residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Lila Jean was born October 28, 1943 to the late Lewis Carl Keith and the late Leatha Gertrude Blankenship Keith. She was the wife of the late Roe Garvin Gregory and the late Charles Dodson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jessie Carl Gregory, two sisters, Lillian “Pug” Riggles, and Linda Huff.

Lila Jean is survived by her children, Rita Gayle Lee (Jackie) of Franklin, KY, Gloria Jean Mantlo, of Franklin, KY, Jeff Gregory (Laura) of Franklin, KY, and Gary Gregory (Katrina) of Franklin, KY, two brothers, Leroy Keith and Leon Gary Keith both of Franklin, KY, sixteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

She was a member of Barbe Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Drackett, Peytons, and Globe Manufacturing.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday October 18, 2019 and 6:00 AM until time of service Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
