Lendell James Pollard

Mr. Lendell James Pollard, age 79, of Orlinda, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at 6:39 PM at the Tristar Skyline Medical Center, in Nashville, TN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.

Lendell was born on March 22, 1943 to the late Worth Pollard and the late Clara (Hamilton) Pollard.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carlotta Pollard; 2 daughters, Jessica Hand of Franklin, KY and Leslie Gregory (Kevin) of Franklin, KY; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Gregory, MaKayla Gregory and Preslee Hand; and 1 great-grandchild, Walker Lockhart.

Lendell was a veteran of the US Army.  He graduated from Roffler Barber School.  Lendell is of Baptist faith.  Lendell was a songwriter for Ascap, Bug Music and EMI Music all of Nashville, TN.
