Lena Mae Barrett, 85, of Franklin, KY, died December 17, 2011 at her residence surrounded by friends and family after a long illness.
Barrett was a native of Simpson County, a long-time Executive Secretary at Rockwell Manufacturing Company in Russellville, KY and during her retirement a local Simpson County farmer in the Bethel Grove community. She was the daughter of the late James Richard "Dick" Barrett and Eva Akin Barrett of Simpson County.
Survivors include one niece Pam Rohrs of Franklin; three nephews, Joe Barrett of Portland, TN, Tom Barrett of Blowing Rock, NC and Phil Malone of Owensboro, KY.
