Lela Frances Pinson

Mrs. Lela Frances Pinson, age 87, of Franklin, KY passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory and will continue on Thursday the 28^th, from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28^th, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery located at: 2285 Schweizer Rd. Franklin, KY 42134. 

Lela was born on November 14, 1936 in Robertson County, TN to the late Glenn Swift and the late Robbie (Deberry) Swift. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Don Pinson and a daughter-in-law, Linda Pinson.  

She is survived by 4 children, Marx Pinson of Franklin, KY, Joni Pinson of Franklin, KY, Jeff Pinson (Lisa) of College Grove, TN and Phillip Pinson of Franklin, KY; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pinson was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a 1955 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and working in her flowers.
