Mr. Larry Douglas Turner, Sr., age 65 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1:15 PM at his residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of Franklin, KY., he was the son of the late Homer Douglas “Doug” Turner and the late Nellie Inez Hutcheson Turner.
He is survived by his son Larry D. Turner, Sr. (Lisa) of Franklin, KY., a step-daughter Tammy Blankenship of Scottsville, Ky., 2 brothers Randy Turner and Jody Turner both of Franklin, KY., a sister Melissa Manley Bowling Green, KY.
Mr. Turner was a retired from Kroger.
