Larry Ross

Mr. Larry Ross, age 72 of Bowling Green, KY passed away on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Ross’ wishes were to be cremated. Gathering of friends and family from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory.

Larry was born on July 30th, 1950 in Charles City, IA to the late Marvin Ross and the late Rosella Arndt Ross. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Ross Atwood, and 3 siblings, Marvin Ross JR, Roger Ross, and Teri Ross.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Jennie Ross, of Bowling Green, KY; 2 sons, Kristian Ross, of Bowling Green, KY, Jason Ross (Susan) of Bowling Green, KY; 3 grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, and Sofia Ross; 3 sisters, Fran Berchold of Modesto, CA, Carol Meador of Rockford, IA, Vicki Inman of Rockford, IA; and 1 brother Jimmie Ross, of Medford, MN.

Larry was a retired press-worker for The Tennessean and a 1968 class graduate of Charles City High School. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, watching the Vikings/Titans play, always kept up with his boys’ high school sports games, and always looked forward to the annual guy’s baseball trip with his sons.
