Larry Nolan Biggs

Mr. Larry Nolan Biggs, age 67 of Alvaton, KY., entered into rest Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:55 P. M. at the his residence.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00 P. M. with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Simpson Co. KY., he was the son of the late James Nolan Biggs and Mary G. Biggs who survives of Franklin, Ky. He was the husband of the late Kay Theda Biggs.
He is survived by 2 daughters Amy Ellis(John) of Franklin, Ky. and Beth Durham of Gallatin, TN., 4 grandchildren Nicolas Dustin Agee, Bryson Durham, Hannah Kirby and Chelsea Ellis, 3 great grandchildren Jacob Riley Agee, Chloe Kirby and Ellie Miller.
Mr. Biggs was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church, Salem Masonic Lodge #462, he was a 1963 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School, he was a former mail carrier in Franklin, and retired from the United States Post Office in Bowling Green, Ky., he was a volunteer for 20 plus years for the Simpson County Fire Dept. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and served in the KY. National Guard.
