Kenneth Joel Sadler

Mr. Kenneth Joel Sadler, age 71, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 at 7:40 PM at the Auburn Health Care Auburn, KY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow at Hillsdale Cemetery in Franklin, KY with military rights provided by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

Ken was born on March 1st, 1951 in Warren County, KY to the late, W.S. Sadler Jr. and Grace Wylean (Brooks), whom survives.

He is also survived by his wife of 46 years, Lois (Jenkins) Sadler; 2 children, Kathy Stradtner (Tim) of Franklin, KY and Kelly Gettings (Jenny) of Concord, NC; 1 brother, Don Sadler of Bowling Green, KY; 1 sister, Jrlean Pedigo of Glasgow, KY; 6 grandchildren, Abby Wilkerson (Cody), Nathan Gettings, Jonathan Stradtner, Tanner Stradtner, Lynna Parker (Shane), and Carla Campbell (John); 6 great-grandchildren, Jaxon Parker, Brock Ramsey, Christian Parker, Knox Ramsey, Carson Wilkerson and Laithe Stradtner.

Ken was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Ken loved fishing and golfing with his friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hillsdale Church Cemetery, c/o Cliff Spears, 1130 Roark Rd., Franklin, KY 42134. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
