Kathryn Tallent

Mrs. Kathryn Jane Tallent, age 74 of Franklin, KY, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at 10:10 AM at her residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday April 15, 2019 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Kathryn was born March 15, 1945 in Chincoteague, VA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Leo Mayes and Mamie Marie Murphy Mayes.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Charles V. Tallent, 5 children, Charlene Gibson (Rick) of Sevierville, TN, Susan Yoder (Danny) of Knoxville, TN, Laura Gregory (Jeff) of Franklin, KY, Charles Tallent Jr. (Renea) of Greenbrier, TN, Angela Eaton (Gary) of Franklin, KY, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was a homemaker and a member of Bearden Gospel Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
