Katherine Louise Gregory Sampson

Katherine Louise Gregory Sampson, age 90, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 8:13 A. M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late John Pate Gregory and the late Lillie Maude Pirtle Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husbands Willie Bogle and Wendell Sampson, a son Willie Steven Bogle, daughter Sherry Jane Bogle Webb, sisters; Pearl Kendall, Bertha West, Lillian Mae Scelsi, brothers Henry H. Gregory and John D. Gregory, grandchildren Mary Catherine Bogle and Robbie Wayne Pirtle, a great grandchild Tasha Rust.
She is survived by 3 daughters Margaret Gettings (Jim), Sandra Goostree and Celia May (Wayne) and 3 sons John Micheal Bogle (Debbie), Hank Bogle and Scotty Bogle (Barbara) all of Franklin, KY.; one sister Becky Maxwell of Danville, IL.; 24 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; 3 step-children Chris Sampson (Gina) of Clarksville, TN., Tracey Sampson (Cindy) of Knoxville, TN. and Kathy Meador (Roger) of Franklin, KY.
Mrs. Sampson was a member of the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. She was an employee of the Drackett Co. for 37 years, cafeteria worker for the Franklin-Simpson school system and Pinkerton Security until the age of 80. She loved her church, her Lighthouses, travel and an avid reader.
