Julia Ann Barber

Ms. Julia “Judy” Ann Barber, age 65, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Saint Thomas West-Hospital in Nashville, TN. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Judy’s wishes were to be cremated after a visitation, there will be no services.

Judy was born on August, 30, 1958 in Earlington, KY to the late JT Barber and the late Robbie Dean (Wix) Barber. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Ray Barber; companion, Jeffery Troutt; and three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Cantrell of Bowling Green, KY, Cynthia Ann Bassham (Randall) of Portland, TN; six grandchildren, Robin Gregory, Zackery O’Neal, Tieran Duncan, Ambria Cantrell, Mercedes Transley. Jacqueline Cantrell; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Dean Barber Sr. (Leslie), Timothy Lynn Barber (Diane); a sister, Carolyn Sue Minton; several nieces and nephews.

Judy loved her family and having a good time. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory to help with Mrs. Crossfield’s final expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
