Jonathan Lee Van Blaricom

Mr. Jonathan Lee Van Blaricom, age 47, of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 2:34 AM at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  A public visitation will take place at his and wife, Missy’s residence, 1102 Harbor Court in Franklin, KY., on Sunday, August 25th and Monday, August 26th.

John was born September 3rd, 1971 in Anderson County, SC to Lester Allen Van Blaricom of Lillian, AL and Pat Kernels of Anderson, SC.  He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Wanda Louise Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa “Missy” Dianne Perdue Van Blaricom, a son, Michael Alexander, great nephews, Jeffrey Coleman, Brenton Coleman and Taylor Coleman, mother, Pat Kernels of Anderson, SC., father, Lester Allen Van Blaricom of Lillian, AL., and a sister, Sydney Brown of Anderson, SC.

John attended Troy State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in social work.  He owned and operated, along with his wife, Peaceful Solutions Counseling Services in Franklin, KY.
