Mr. Jonathan Douglas Scott, age 32 of Portland, TN, passed away, Monday, August 19th, 2019 In Portland, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2019 with burial to follow in the Whites Chapel United Methodist Cemetery in Warren County, KY.

John was born February 24, 1987 in Gallatin, TN to Rondal Scott (Melissa) of Portland, TN and Amie Alford of Franklin, KY whom both survive.

John was preceded in death by a daughter, Tailynn Scott, paternal grandparents, Clifford Scott and Mary Ann Parker.

He is survived by a son, Jonas Edward Scott of Wisconsin, brothers, Bearett West of Franklin, KY, Dakoda Scott of Portland, TN, Isaiah Armstrong of Franklin, KY, Elijah Armstrong of Franklin, KY, Tage Scott of Portland, TN, sisters, Willa Davenport of Franklin, KY, Kaitlyn Scott of Portland, TN, Kalissa Scott of Portland, TN, maternal grandparents, Larry “Bear” Alford (Kim) of Portland, TN and Rita Holycross of Franklin, KY, step-grandmother, Agnes Scott of Bowling Green, KY, and a maternal great-grandmother, Eunice “Toon” Alford of Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, August 22, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
