Mr. John H. "Johnny" Davis, age 86 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 8:08 P.M at the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin, KY..
A native of Orlinda, TN. he was the son of the late James W. Davis and the late Verna Chandler Davis. He was the husband of the late Freddie Payne Davis and the late Rosie Dillard Davis. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter Jennifer Dillard and a sister Frances Davis Kelly.
He is survived by his daughter Wanda Davis Lile, grand daughter Christy Lile Hicks, great grandson Trenton Hicks, step-daughter Sandy Dillard, step-son Doug Dillard all of Franklin, KY., 7 step - grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
Mr. Davis was a member of the Macedonia General Baptist Church, member of the Singing Hopes and Pathfinders and Christian Harmoneers. He also had given 21 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross. He had worked at Lenk Manufacturing for 20 years and at Wal-Mart for 20 years.
