Joe Lee Lockhart

Mr. Joe Lee Lockhart, age 90, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Magnolia Village Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Center Baptist Church at South Union, KY: 241 S. Union Rd. Auburn, KY 42206. The funeral service will be held on the same day Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 1:00 at Center Baptist Church at South Union, KY with burial to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. 

Joe was born on July 1, 1934 in Franklin, KY to the late Roena (Addison) Lockhart and the late Harry Lockhart. He is also preceded in death by 2 children, Joe Billy Lockhart and Regina Lockhart; and 3 siblings, Beasley Lockhart, Mary Lockhart and Robert Lockhart.

He is survived by 4 children, Margaret Lockhart of Franklin, KY, Gayla Lockhart of Bowling Green, KY, Estella Lockhart of Bowling Green, KY and Noble Randolph of Bowling Green, KY; 1 step-daughter, Barbara Randolph; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Lockhart, Tricia Osborne and Duron Lockhart; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe loved to ride his bike and grill out. He was a very good horseshoe player.
