Joe Kem

Mr. Joseph H. Kem, age 79, of Franklin, KY., died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 6:25 A..M. at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Sikeston, MO., he was the late Louis Kem and the late Rosa Bohannon Kem. He was preceded in death by a brother Randolph Kem and 2 sisters Zelma Duncan and Louise Chaney.
He is survived by his wife Ann Kem of 60 years, 4 Daughters, Carol Jane Kem of Atlanta, GA., Dr. Judy Kem of Winston Salem, NC. Janet Ausbrooks and her husband Henry and Joe Ann Gary and her husband Greg all of Bowling Green, Ky., a son Dr. Jack Kem and wife Kathy of Leavenworth, KS., 2 Brothers, Edsel Kem of shawnee, KS. and L.R. Kem of Pinehurst, NC. 11 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Mr. Kem was a retired insurance salesman, a member of First Baptist Church and the Reflections Choir. He was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Eastwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY., Blackjack Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. He served as treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Good Samaritan.
