Jimmy Douglas Richards

Mr. Jimmy Douglas Richards, age 71 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
A native of Simpson Co. KY., he was the son of the late Thurman Richards and the late Martha Bell Stringer Richards. He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Joe Richards.
He is survived by his son Kevin Richards of Franklin, KY.
Mr. Richards was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ in Orlinda, TN. and a 1965 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. He was a retired employee of Potter & Brumfield and an employee of the Dollar General Market.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until funeral service time Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
