Jimmie C. Kinnard

Mr. Jimmie C. Kinnard age 76 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:45 AM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

A native of Franklin, KY., he was the son of the late Earnest Kinnaird and the late Marie Barnard Kinniard.  He was preceded in death by a brother Jackie Kinnaird.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Kinnard and a daughter Carol Ann Kington both of Franklin, KY.;  a sister Anita Randolph (Billy) and step-sister Peggy Huffiness all of Franklin, KY. and a half-brother Mike Kinnaird (Cheryl) of Nashville, TN.; a granddaughter Kelli Kington and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kinnard was a farmer and a retired employee of Key Oil Co.  He was a Air Force veteran during the Viet Nam war serving  from 1961-1965.  He served many years on the Sulphur Spring Cemetery Board of Directors and during his retirement he loved to build furniture and working with his hands.

Visitation will begin Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM Sunday until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sulphur Spring Cemetery Fund or to the Simpson County Honor Guard.
