Jerry Lee Jones

Jerry Lee Jones, age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 3:45 PM at the Tristar StoneCrest Medical Center, in Smyrna, TN surrounded by loved ones.

Jerry was born on November 22, 1942 to the late Lawrence Jones and the late Lucy Davidson Jones.  He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lawrence Jones, Jr., Clarence Edward Jones, Don Jones and 1 sister, Mary Agnes Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Jones; children, Charles Lawrence Jones, Patrick Jones (Vandy) and Daphne Vantrease (Tim); grandchildren, Makenzie Jones, Matthew Jones, Jacob Jones and Carlee Jones; siblings, Helen South, Eleanor Caudill, Jean Thomas (Walter), Jane Forshee (Jackie) and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
