Jenene Huffines Farmer

Mrs. Jenene Huffines Farmer, age 77 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:27 AM at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 4, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Huffines and the late Jewel Webb Huffines.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Leslie Farmer.

She is survived by her daughter Sherry Griffin (Gene) of Franklin, KY.; 2 sons Steve Farmer (Connie) of Franklin, KY. and Scott Farmer (Lisa) of Knoxville, TN.; a brother Charles Huffines of Atmore, AL.; 6 grandchildren Dr. Mindy Farmer, Melanie Keen, T. J. Gomer, Kyle Gomer, Leslie Farmer, Macie Taylor and 5 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Farmer was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a active member of WMU (Women’s Missionary Union).

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM  until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Monday until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
