Mrs. Jean Farmer Collins, age 83 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, February 5, 2016 at 8:33 PM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 8, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Born June 12, 1932 in Sumner County, TN. she was the daughter of the late Roy Farmer and the late Ella McGlothlin Farmer. She was the wife of the late Tommy Collins and preceded in death by her son Gordon Collins.
She is survived by a daughter Kim Gay (Greg) of Bowling Green, KY., 5 brothers Fred Farmer of Murfreesboro, TN., Raymond Farmer (Jay) of Franklin, KY., Wilson Farmer (Sara) of Bowling Green, KY., Floyd Farmer (Pam) of Campbellsville, KY. and Albert Farmer (Jenny) of Irving, TX. and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Collins was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time Monday.
