Janet Owen (Phillips) Revuelta

Ms. Janet Owen Revuelta, age 65, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at 8:07 AM at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will continue on Sunday, December 5th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 5th, at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, KY.

Janet was born on September 14th, 1956 in Simpson County, KY to the late James Neal Phillips and the late Ethel Lavinia (Matherly) Phillips.  She is also preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Julio Maurillio Revuelta and 1 sister, Coletta Gwen Davis and 1 brother, Ronnie Neal.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Myreah Revuelta (Dathien) of Bowling Green, KY; 5 grandchildren, Ariella Grainger, Bryce Grainger, Da'Mani Grainger, Addison Grainger, Bentley Revuelta-Odom; 2 brothers, Larry Bee Phillips of Springfield, TN and James Hilton "Jimmy" Phillips of Franklin, KY; and best friend, DeAnn Watkins of Auburn, KY.

Janet was a 1974 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.  She was the owner of JC’s Main Street Café & Pool Room that was in Franklin, KY.  Janet worked at Cracker Barrel and Flying J Corporation.  She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and she loved strawberry daiquiris.
