James Edward Seng

Mr. James Seng, age 89, of Franklin, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 5:32 PM at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, KY.

James was born on October 5, 1932 in Simpson County, KY to the late Fred Seng and the late Hassie (Draper) Seng.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Margie Seng; a sister, Christine Wilburn and a niece, Pat Alderson.

He is survived by 1 nephew, Ronnie Kinnaird; 2 great-nephews, Michael Alderson and Mark Alderson; 2 great-nieces, Stacey Steger and Missy Kinnaird; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

James was a member and deacon of Providence Baptist Church in Simpson County, KY.  He was retired from Detrex.  James enjoyed farming and coon hunting.
