Mr. James “Jim” Lott, age 73, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at The Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Mr. Lott’s wishes are to be cremated. There will be a memorial service later in the fall.
Jim was born on September 9, 1948 in Texarkana, AR to the late, Robert Lee Lott, Sr. and the late, Thelma (Nix) Lott. He is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Gene Lott, Tom Lott and Bobby Lott.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Jenna Maturino (Ben) of Ward, AR; 2 grand-children, Owen Maturino and Lucy Maturino; 1 niece, Crystal Purifoy of Texarkana, AR; 1 nephew, Robert Lott of Nashville, TN; extended family friend, Kookie and Rick Paravicini and special friend, Josh Lyles.
Jim worked at Kenny Perry’s Golf Course in Franklin, KY. He loved all of his colleagues there and thought of them as family. Jim got drafted by the Houston Oilers in 1969, then he joined a local band and played on a lot of cruise ships and local places where he lived. He also loved to play in all of the scrambles at the golf course.
