JAMES WILLIAM HAMMOCK

Mr. James William Hammock, age 71 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 A. M. at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 A. M. until 10:00 P. M. Wednesday, February 25, 2015.  The family has chosen cremation following the Celebration of Life at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

A native of Macon Co., TN., he was the son of the late Albert Harris Hammock and the late Mary Lee Bennett Hammock.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sue Hammock, 2 daughters:  Carolyn Roberts and Sharon King all of Franklin, KY.;  2 sons:  Douglas Hammock of Franklin, KY. and Charley Hammock (Ginger) of Smiths Grove, KY.;  4 sisters:  Wilma Mayhew, Leota Uhls both of Franklin, KY., Judy Hesson of Gallatin, TN. and Joyce Trammel of Mitchellville, TN.; 2 brothers:  Randall Hammock of Scottsville, KY. and Ricky Hammock of Westmoreland, TN.; 8 grandchildren:  Eric Roberts, Alecia Powell, Michael King, Matthew Roberts, Tyler Hammock, Gabbi Ezell, Jonathan King and Gracey Hammock;  3 great grandchildren:  Hope Roberts, Rilee Powell and Jayden Powell;  3 sisters-in-law:  Lendria McClain of Franklin, KY., Linda Ann Turner and April Anderson both of Hartford City, IN. and several special nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hammock was a retired employee of the Kendall Co.
