Mr. James Groves, age 90, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, August 8, 2014 at 9:58 A.M. at his residence.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Lonzo Groves and the late Frances Summers Groves.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Lillie Groves, a son Charles R. Groves (Linda) and daughter Peggy Ann Farmer (Terry L.) all of Franklin, KY.; a sister Nellie Henson of Portland, TN; 5 grandchildren: Robert Groves, James Terry Groves, Brandon Stewart, Brian Groves and Matthew Groves; 5 great grandchildren: Amber Groves, Katelyn Groves, Logan Groves, Hunter Groves and Ann Marie Groves.
Mr. Groves was a member of Bryam's Chapel and a farmer.
