James F Gann

Mr. James F. Gann, age 90, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at 4:04 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2020 and from 6:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

James was born September 28, 1930 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Carl Gann and the late Fannie Jane Oliver Gann.  He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Dale Gann, a daughter, Betty Peters, a grandson, Jamie Cassetty and a granddaughter, Jodie Gann Jones

He is survived by wife of almost 73 years Ioma Gann, two grandsons, Jason Gann of Franklin, KY and Shannon Cassetty of Franklin, KY, two great granddaughters, Kelsey Cassetty West and Jalynn Gann, four great grandsons - Austin Gann, Sheldon Cassetty, Michael Cassetty and Jonathan Cassetty and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gann was a member and deacon at Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church.  He was also member of Simpson County Farm Bureau and Woodmen of the World.  He was retired farmer.
