James Henry Evans, Sr.

Mr. James Henry Evans, Sr, age 78 of Franklin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 at his residence.

Arrangements are under the care of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory. Cremation was chosen.  No services are scheduled.

James was born August 15, 2021 in Pearisburg, VA to the late Samuel Marie Evan and the late Margaret Dalton Evans.  He was preceded by his wife Sandra Evans and a daughter, Jamie Marie Evans.

He is survived by 4 children, James Henry Evans, Jr. (Kara) of Millersville, MD, Robert Lee Evans (Carol) of Franklin, KY, Danny A. Evans of Franklin, KY, Brandy Robertson (Trista) of Pulaski. VA, 5 grandchildren, 3 siblings Sam Evans, Betty Scott and Martha Jackson.

James was retired janitor for a wholesale warehouse and enjoyed riding motor scooters.
