Henrietta Elizabeth Taylor Kirby, former business owner of Elizabeth's Beauty Salon, born July 28, 1922 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest July 14, 2014 at her son's home in Harrison, TN.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was preceded in death by her parents Townsey Morris Taylor and Oma Marie Yates Taylor, one brother Sherwood Taylor and one grandson by marriage, Robb Scott and husbands James Fowler Draper and Euel Cleveland Kirby.

She is survived by one daughter Margaret Draper Phillips (Bobby Sr.) of Franklin, KY., two sons James Morris Draper (Sheri) of Murfressboro, TN. and Donald Cleveland Kirby (Gala) of Harrison, TN.; four grandsons: Bobby Cecil "Chip" Phillips, Jr. (Cindy) and James Chadwick "Chad" Phillips both of Franklin, KY., Philip L. Draper (Claire) of Bellvue, TN. and James Michael Draper and fiance Suzanne Votteler of Seattle, WA.; one great granddaughter Lauren Phillips Pinson (Eric) and great great granddaughter Carlee Elizabeth named after her great great grandmother, of Franklin, KY.; five great grandsons: Jason Phillips (Lacey) and Eric Phillips all of Franklin, KY., Joshua Phillips (Dee Dee) of Louisville, KY., Scott Chadwick Phillips of Fort Walton, FL. and Ezekiel "Zeke" Draper of Bellvue, TN.; one sister-in-law Betty Ann Groce (Oscar) of Franklin, KY. and two brother-in-laws Clarence Kirby (Gay) of Franklin, KY. and Benny Kirby (Faye) of Antioch, TN. and several nieces and nephews. We will always cherish the contribution of good character and precious memories we share.

Mrs. Kirby's main focus was to live her life according to God's commandments and having a heart full of love since she was a child. She was noted the Class Favorite of her cosmetology Class of 1956. She loved generously and it was returned abundantly by everyone that knew her. She was a faithful and devoted Christian wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was an active member of the church she loved so much, Franklin (South Main) Church of Christ.
