Helen C. Rodgers

Mrs. Helen C. Rodgers, age 87, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, February 12, 2018 at 8:00 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Mrs. Rodgers was born June 9, 1930 in Robertson Co., TN. to the late James Buchanon Rodgers and the late Roberta Rodgers.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Pat Johnson and 2 sons Danny and Ronnie Shoulders.

She is survived by 5 children Mike Shoulders of Franklin, KY., Jimmy Shoulders of McAllister, OK, Judy Link of Franklin, KY., Pam Hawkins of Franklin, KY. and Sherry Stevens of Milton, FL., 16 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the Providence Baptist Church, and retired from the Drackett Company and had worked at Wal-Mart for 16 years.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
