Helen Louise Groves

Mrs. Helen Louise Groves, age 87, of Franklin, KY., died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.

A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Alvis Williams and the late Edna Pearl Borthick Williams. She was the wife of the late James Carl Groves. She was preceded in death by a brother Alton "Pineapple" Williams.

She is survived by 2 Daughters Barbara Cline of Bowling Green, Ky. and Debra Kay Cook and her husband Scott of Franklin, Ky., 2 Granddaughters Morgan Cook and Robin Cline Vanderpool and a Sister June Morgan of Franklin, Ky.

Mrs. Groves was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5706 Auxiliary, American Legion Post # 62 Auxiliary, AARP and Eastern Star. She was retired from Kendall, book keeper for Groves Texaco Station and a telephone operator.
