Hazel Caudill Chisholm
October 8, 1918 — June 20, 2014
Mrs. Hazel Caudill Chisholm, age 95 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, June 20, 2014 at 4:22 A. M. at her residence.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Moses Jeff Caudill and the late Rona Belle Lamb Caudill. She was the wife of the late Walter Larson Chisholm of 68 years. She was preceded in death by a sister Florence Atwood and a brother Walter Caudill.
She is survived by a daughter Betty Chisholm Parker(Ernest) of Franklin, Ky. and Walter Alvis Chisholm of Frankfort, KY., 2 grandchildren Barry Douglas Freas (Linda) of Franklin, Ky. and Melinda Freas Wester (Stuart) of Lexington, KY., 5 great grandchildren Mimi, Emily and James Bates, Kristin and Abby Freas, 2 great great grandchildren and a niece Linda Atwood Fleming.
Mrs. Chisholm was a longtime member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a housewife and seamstress and mother to Betty and Walter.
For many years she and her husband enjoyed being part of the Southern KY. Antique Car Club. He was in charge of the car show and she coordinated the crafts portion of the annual downtown Antique Car and Craft Show in Franklin, KY.
